Vision and Values

The Meadows School Vision was written with input from Staff, Governors, Parents and the Children.   We believe our Vision and Values are what make The Meadows School a unique and special place.  Each week we celebrate pupils who have displayed the school values and recognise the contribution this makes to our school.

Our Vision

At The Meadows School the children are at the heart of everything we do.

Staff and families work together to create a community where everyone is valued, cared for and respected. We believe that all our pupils can make outstanding progress, becoming lifelong learners and responsible members of the community.

Our Values

  • Kindness
  • Perseverance
  • Community Spirit
  • Positivity
  • Respect
  • Compassion

We will work to make sure that:

-we have pupils who thrive on difficult challenges and manage their emotions

-we have pupils who actively participate in lessons

-we have pupils who understand their role and responsibility in their own learning

-our curriculum promotes a love of learning and excites the pupils

-our school community is kind and supportive of each other

-our pupils are prepared with life skills to support them in the next stage of their learning journey

-our pupils are responsible members of the wider community.

Our school Prayer

At the Meadows School, we believe that we should do all the good we can:

For each other – friends, family and community,

For the environment around us and the wider world,

To work hard and achieve our very best,

Always.
